Years ago I had a sewing buddy. We shopped together. Planned projects and challenged each other. She moved away. I moved to a rural area and I have never found that camaraderie again and I miss it. Social media is good, but just not quite the same. I have tried local knitting and needlework groups, but I would love a garment sewing group or buddy. Until then I have my online groups and punkfrockers.
